The beverage giant has turned the focus back on consumers to justify its stand. Piplsay (powered by Market Cube) conducted this survey to find out if American consumers agree with the brand’s reasoning. Coca-Cola and other FMCG brands can leverage this data in their decision making.

Trust Coca-Cola for some sensational fizz. The Cola giant raised eyebrows recently when it said that the brand will continue using single-use plastic bottles for its beverages because that’s what the consumers want. Plastics, no doubt, are lightweight and resealable, but do most consumers really prefer them? Piplsay polled 32,677 Americans to get to the truth, and here’s what we found:
