CBD usage has been on the rise in the UK the past few years, and the pandemic only seems to have increased its demand. From treating illnesses and disorders to boosting general health and wellness, CBD products have fast become the latest magic potion to hit the shelves. The CBD market is expected to see an upward trend over the next few years as awareness and acceptance around the drug increases. How excited are Britons about these new products, and what are they using them for? Piplsay polled 12,075 people across the country to get some insights. Here is a summary of what we found:
- 34% of men and 31% of women have tried CBD products so far
- 54% of men have been using CBD for anxiety and depression as compared to 46% of women
- 50% of Gen Zers are using CBD for skin and healthcare as compared to just 30% of Millennials and 20% of Gen Xers
- 56% of Millennials and 40% of Gen Zers have increased their use of CBD amid the pandemic
