With vaccinations in full swing, people in numerous countries are returning to their pre-COVID lives, including resuming their holiday plans and travels. This report delves into people’s comfort with traveling and their changing opinions and attitudes amid the COVID-19 delta variant surge.

The travel industry is witnessing a fresh spike as states and countries reopen their borders to allow domestic and international tourism amid increasing vaccination rates. At the same time, however, the highly contagious delta variant remains a dampener as even vaccinated individuals continue to be at risk of getting infected and spreading the virus. While some countries are welcoming only fully jabbed travelers, others continue to have entry and quarantine restrictions in place for precaution. As people look forward to planning trips and packing their bags again, how have preferences and attitudes changed in the past year? Piplsay polled 28,000 Americans and 9,300 Britons to get some insights. Here is a summary of what we found:
